Fed up with your daily tasks and routines? Beating yourself up for not being able to follow them consistently?
Instead of creating a long to-do list and trying hard to stick to it. Create a "to-don't" list with a few of the things that make you not want to work.
Analyze your day and make a list of the tiny things that are ineffective or where you believe you are wasting most of your time. Add those to your "don't check" list.
For example, it appears to be a 5-minute task, but it takes one hour of your time (WhatsApp, social media, mail, etc.).
I found out that I spent most of my time in the morning checking email newsletters, messages, and stock portfolios. These tasks add no value to my day and stop me from doing other important things in the morning. So, I made a "not to do" list with it to keep myself from checking them off.
If you feel they’re still needed, set aside a time during the day for them, and don't check them until then.
If I were you, I'd put those not-to-do tasks on at the later part of the day. My energy level will be low later in the evening, and I'm fine with spending time on them now.
Hope this helps you to cherry-pick bad behaviors.
until next time,
Peranesh xx
