“Forgiveness is the fragrance that the violet sheds on the heal that crushed it.”
We've all met that one person in our lives who has done something wrong to us at college or at the workplace… Who makes us sad, angry, or feel annoyed…
Will you agree with this? If I say that forgiving someone who has wronged you is a selfish act rather than a selfless one,
I even had a few people who crossed me a couple of years ago. I had already moved on from that phase of my life, but I was still carrying that person on my back without realizing it…
The more I thought about them, the angrier I became. It hampered me as a person.
We are only compounding the grudge and stunting our minds' potential if we keep them in our heads. A minute spent thinking about them is a minute taken from our precious lives.
I began forgiving people around me who, I believed, irritated the life out of me. They are no longer a part of my life once I have forgiven them.
Every time I forgive someone for hurting me, I'm actually giving myself a gift by letting go of the anger and hatred I harbored toward that person.
From now on, forgive those people in life as soon as possible. Yes, it is difficult to perform this act, especially when you are angry or hurt.
Remember that forgiving them is about you, not them.
Until next time,
